At Lighthouse Baptist Church in Colorado Springs, we are seeking to glorify God in all that we do. We believe that the Bible, God’s written word, is the ultimate authority for all men. We believe that glorifying God through evangelism is the reason Jesus established the local church. We believe that church should be a place that challenges you spiritually to be more like Christ. These beliefs affect everything we do at LBC. Our preaching is not the opinion of man, but the truth of God’s Word. Our singing is not for the amusement of the congregation, but for the praise and worship of Almighty God.

WORSHIP SERVICE

A lot of thought and preparation goes into our music. We have an orchestra, adult choir, youth choir, and children’s choir. Our desire is to “give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name” and to “worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness” (Psalms 29:2). We sing many hymns that have been passed down through the ages, and we have special songs presented by our members.

CHILDREN’S CHURCH

While you participate in worship and listen to a message from God’s Word, your children, third grade and under, can enjoy a special church service tailored to their needs. Our teachers bring an exciting lesson and games that vary from week to week.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

We take the teaching ministries of our church very seriously. Even the toddlers in the nursery enjoy a small lesson every week. For those beyond high school, we have College and Career class, a Home Builders class, and an Adult Sunday School class.
